For fire rated sealing of non-combustible plastic pipes with or without isolation, in flexible partition walls, massive walls and massive floors.
Approved pipe types:
- PVC, PP and PE pipes
- Waste water pipes (e.g. Polokal NG, Wavin Si Tech, Rehau Raupiano and Geberit Silent PP)
- Multilayer composite pipes (e.g. Aquatherm green pipe MS, Uponor MLC and Alpex Duo)
The length of the strip and specifically the number of layers is defined in the installation instruction. The strip can be cut accordingly with scissors or a carpet knife.
The given number of layers is wrapped around the pipe in front of the opening. The end is fixed with a tape. Then the strip is pushed into the opening.
Remaining gaps are sealed with A1 classified mortar or gypsum mortar.
