AlSi5 aluminium alloy solid wire for welding AlSi and AlMg aluminium alloys.
The silicon improves weld pool fluidity. Not recommended for anodisable materials.
The weld metal is more resistant to hot cracking and has a brighter surface than magnesium-alloy weld metals.
