The last three digits after 639 03 ... are important in original Fein numbers, otherwise the three-digit number imprinted on the knives.
- When the number starts with "0", e.g.095, 0 is replaced by 5 and the prefix 0696 is added to the result. In this case, for instance, Würth’s item no. would be 0696 595.
- When the number starts with "1" or "2", e.g. 126, the "5" prefix is added before "1" or "2" and prefix 0696 is added to the entire number, that is, the Würth item no. is 0696 512 6.
