For the installation of pipelines, air ducts, cable conduits and air-conditioning units on flat roofs.
We recommend the following procedure for the correct installation on flat roofs:
Check the surface: The roof surface must be clean, load bearing and even.
Uneven or soft surfaces (e.g. insulation) can cause selective overloading.
Height compensation: All mounting rail feet must be aligned to the same height (e.g. using a rotary laser level or spirit level). Height differences result in uneven load distribution.
Compensate for sloping: In the case of slopes, the use of wedge-shaped damping mats (2.5°/5°) is necessary to level out the feet.→ Article numbers: 0862003076 (2.5°), 0862003078 (5°)
Ensure load distribution: Make sure that the loads from the installed construction (dead load, wind loads etc.) are evenly distributed across all feet.
Note: Only suitable for roofs with a slope of up to 5°. If you have any questions about load capacity or load calculation, we recommend consulting a structural engineer.
